Helping You Behind The Scenes
Hello! I’m Lilian, owner of Teratai. I have a small team helping solo business owners and not- for-profits in their day-to-day admin and business activities.
Organisation and planning are second nature to me. I’m also drawn to creativity which is why I enjoy working with business owners who want more time to create and develop, and less time on the nitty-gritty details.
Being somewhat of an introvert, I enjoy working with small setups, getting to know my clients and their business, and working closely with them long-term in their business.
I am an experienced virtual assistant. I have worked in the customer service, marketing support, admin and operations space for the past 20 years in various service industries where half of that time was spent working for a small charity, building it up operationally from a team of four to a team of fifteen, with an increase in turnover from £140k to 500k.
What it’s like working with me?
Calm, approachable, problem-solving. I make it easy to work with me. Tell me what you want, and I’ll figure it out. I design processes to fit the business, because every business is unique. There is no one-size-fits-all.

If you’d like to get to know me, the best is to arrange a 1-2-1 call. Alternatively, you can find me on:
- ONLE networking – I’m part of the South West London group that meets the first Friday of the month.
- Christian Businesses in Kent – I love the support I get from my fellow Christian business owners.
- Beckenham Business Association – It’s awesome having a local community of business owners right where I live.
- I’m active on LinkedIn – send a connection anytime. I’m active in Facebook but on my personal profile engaging in Facebook groups such as Virtual Assistant Help Desk for “Goto VAs and OBMs” , Crystal Palace Freelancers and Start Up Business Help and Advice UK.
- Oh yes – did I say I have a Google My Business page?
- And, I’m a member of StartUp Bromley – I was so pleased when Bromley started offering support to new businesses. I remember the steep learning curve I had to climb when I first started the business.
